The role requires the ability to move between various client engagements that vary in size and industry, so a flexible yet organised approach is a must.
Systems Engineers configure equipment and software to meet customers’ business needs, then document the solution for ongoing support. Due to Acurus Pty Ltd being a Microsoft and AWS partner, they will have a sound knowledge of Microsoft systems and AWS support, and are certified with either an MCSE or an MCITP equivalent alongside at a minimum an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Main responsibilities include; system design and implementations, system testing and support and technology consultancy for some of our brand name clients across Energy, Retail and Fashion industries.
Must haves:
- At least 6 years’ experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies within a corporate environment
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant certifications, particularly Microsoft, VMWare or AWS.
- ITIL certification
Exposure to managed networks, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Fortinet and VMWare will be viewed favourably. So too will relevant certifications or tertiary qualifications.
